Signing Day 2010: Final Update 6:30pm

(UPDATED 6:30PM)
This is the Signing Day 2010 post. It will be updated as I hear things. If you hear something, post it in the comments and I will make a note of it up top. Munchie Legaux decommitted from Colorado, and his decision will be made possibly by the time you read this. I absolutely wrote this part to write his name again. If he googles himself, come to Cincinnati please. 1 person will already buy your jersey.

In real news, GoBearcats.com will have press conferences streaming all day, starting at 8am. There is a big fan event at 6 pm at the Kingsgate Marriot. It costs $75, but you get dinner and parking. If I had 75 smackers to throw around, I would be there. They have a cash bar though, so that's lame. For $75 bucks, you should be able to drink all the white wine spritzers you can handle. Be sure to check back throughout the day, and if you have news, drop a comment or line. Thanks.

12:46 pm- I'm assuming the man read the blog, because Munchie Legaux is coming to Cinicinnati! Here is a youtube video of his awesomeness

  • In other recruiting news, the Enquirer says the class is "holding steady." A man from Scouts.com says that Cincinnnati "Remains the poster child for disregarding recruiting rankings." The Cats class is currently 61 at Rivals, and 63 at Scout.com. In the Big East, Rivals had UC 4th, and Scouts 7th.
  • Matt James, the big offensive tackle from St X, chose Notre Dame
  • Super Prep all regional selections S Arryn Chenault from Fairfield, and Lakota West OL Kevin Schloemer have signed on at UC.
  • The event mentioned up top the Kingsgate Marriot is sold out. You should have listened to me and bought tickets 6 hours ago. Tsk tsk, I'm disappointed in you.
  • Tony Pike and Mardy Gilyard were invited to the NFL Combine. Has nothing to do with recruiting, but it's a cool note.
  • Unrelated, Cincinnati and Dayton will renew their rivalry on the hardwood. It's part of a tournament with no other teams announced, but UC will play Dayton at US Bank Arena sometime in November or December.
Here is the free page at Rivals that has a list of every UC recruit for this season. Treasure it.
Here is a full list of people who have picked Cincinnati today, courtesy of our friends at GoBearcats.com. Please note, this is is just today.

5 PM Update: Quick rankings update from Rivals.com. UC has the 59th class overall, and is still 4th in the Big East. West Virginia, Pittsburgh, and Louisville rate better. The rest of the Big East is as such. Rutgers, South Florida, Syracuse, Connecticut.
Scout.com ranks UC 62. It ranks Cincinnati 7th in the Big East. Pittsburgh, West Virginia, Louisville, Rutgers, South Florida and Syracuse rate higher. I'll update this a final time around 7 with the full list of UC recruits.

Final Update 6:30 PM The Cincinnati Bearcats have announced a recruiting class of 22. Since I would be ripping them off anyway, here is the full list of every recruit on GoBearcats. There are videos and all that fun stuff. Rivals.com had UC with the 59th best class final, with the average grade of 2.48. Let's hope these guys don't suck.
